Nickel 200 Nuts offers good weldability and corrosion resistance from various atmospheres including pitting and crevice corrosion. Due to the high ductility, and toughness this grade is widespread fasteners across all different applications. Nickel 201 Nuts is also a good grade of nickel steel for low environmental conditions as much as -450 degree Fahrenheit, and low magnetic permeable atmosphere as well. Nickel 201 nuts is generally used at the temperature range from 1150-1035 degree celsius in the constant functioning environment to intermittent operations depending upon once one needs. Nickel 200 Nuts offers greater corrosion resistance, and annealing is usually done at 1900 degree fahrenheit, followed by rapid cooling. The general hot working that is performed by Nickel 200/201 Nuts is done after the continuous heating at the temperature of 1177 degree celsius.

We use Nickel 200 and 201 Fasteners in high speed steel tooling that equates to about 70 surface/min due to forming operations that should be performed under the room temperature at any time. For fasteners heat rejection copper back-up plates are functional, nevertheless to prevent cracks in the solder metal Nickel 200 nuts strictly do not permit surface-fuse the copper back up plate for better results.
